We collect only the data needed to run tournaments and track competition results. We don't sell your data or use it for marketing. You can download or delete your data at any time from your account settings.
1. Who we are
The Chanbara Information System ("the Service") is operated by Team Knights Czechia, a sports organisation based in the Czech Republic. We are the data controller for all personal data processed through this Service.

2. What data we collect and why

3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) β specifically, to provide the sports registration and competition management service you use. Competition results are also processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) as part of official sports record-keeping.
4. How long we keep your data
Account and personal data is kept for as long as your account is active. Competition results and official records may be retained indefinitely as part of the historical record of the sport. If you request account deletion, your personal details will be removed, but anonymised results entries may be retained.
5. Who can access your data
- You β through your account profile.
- Club managers and owners β can see the names and registration details of their club members.
- Event organisers β can see registration details of participants in their events.
- System administrators β have access to all data for operational purposes.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access β request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification β correct inaccurate data via your account settings.
- Erasure β request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Portability β receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection β object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Most of the above can be done directly in your account settings. Contact us for all other requests and we will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
7. Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies β a session cookie to keep you logged in, and a language preference cookie. No tracking or analytics cookies are used.
